About the role

  • Review specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverables
  • Understand and identify test requirements from specifications or verbal communications
  • Develop, document and maintain clear and concise functional test plans and test cases
  • Walkthrough test cases/scenarios with project BA/Client to receive the feedback and sign-off
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated end-to-end and regression test cases and report test results
  • Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
  • Liaison with development, project management, and customer on quality and project scope and deliverables
  • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and communicate through appropriate channels
  • Participate in key ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment along with a dynamic team composed of software developers, architects, and project managers
  • Take ownership of Quality at every stage of the delivery process
  • Identifying and selecting the automation test cases
  • Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy
  • Creating an automation test plan and getting approval by walking through with the functional QA followed by clients SME
  • Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE) to set it up
  • Automating the design of a framework and implementing it as per the structure of the project
  • Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases
  • Managing the changes and executing regression tests
  • Coming up with solutions for problems related to automation blockers
  • Interacting with customers/clients to solve various issues

Requirements

  • Technical Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma combined with 3 years of relevant experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Sound knowledge in various manual testing (SIT, ST, Unit testing, API testing, Regression, sanity, smoke, E2E)
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience in automation testing using Playwright and/or Selenium Webdriver and Selenium Grid
  • Knowledge of test case management tools such as Jira AIO and Neoload Scripting
  • Experience in C#, Java and Python, SQL
  • Experience in Performance testing is an asset
  • Experience with Quality Assurance processes
  • Knowledge of relational databases and basic knowledge of DB queries
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
