About the role

  • Preparing and ensuring timely delivery of all external financial statements.
  • Managing timely and accurate revenue recognition and month-end financial close.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly reporting packages for the executive team.
  • Managing both external and internal audits.
  • Setting financial standards, implementing accounting policies, and maintaining high standards of financial reporting.
  • Overseeing financial reporting and revenue teams, and managing the integration of newly acquired companies.
  • Ensuring timely preparation of financial statements as per IFRS standards for all group entities.
  • Leading annual external audits and collaborating to ensure efficient month-end closes.
  • Identifying opportunities for operational improvements.

Requirements

  • CPA designation required with 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Microsoft Office, and Netsuite.
  • Experience with IFRS 15 within the technology sector is an asset.
  • Proficiency in both English and French (spoken and written).
