About the role

  • Perform detailed client-facing presentations and product demonstrations of insurance solutions to all levels of personnel within a prospective organization
  • Deliver value add messaging to showcase how our solutions solve specific client challenges
  • Achieve demonstrable integration among Equisoft solution components for compelling sales presentations
  • Develop relevant use cases to showcase Equisoft solutions (stand alone or integrated) for demo purposes and coordinate required work across teams
  • Build integration proof of concepts between Equisoft components using modern patterns
  • Keep up with the latest technological and software development trends
  • Work closely with the Pre-Sales team, product owners and other colleagues to understand functional specifications
  • Innovate and collaborate within the team, leading by example through communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Requirements

  • Technical Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or commensurate experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with at least 3 years in technical a pre-sales role
  • Subject matter expertise in Life, Annuities and Health insurance products and processes
  • Experience with modern integration technologies (REST APIs, GraphQL, event-driven architecture)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for rapid prototyping
  • Solid understanding of front end and backend development concepts and experience with server-side technologies
  • Strong understanding of SQL and general database concepts (query building and optimization)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Strong autonomy and self-motivation
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written) / French or Spanish is nice to have
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally
