Platform Engineer

• Build and maintain the internal platform for Equinix’s digital product portfolio
• Operate a global footprint of Kubernetes clusters deployed on-premises and in the cloud
• Support Equinix engineers with core services including CI/CD, observability, and an internal developer portal
• Prioritize developer experience and improve developer workflows
• Navigate ambiguity and contribute to platform direction, RFCs, and blueprints
• Proactively identify weaknesses and drive solutions across team boundaries
• Promote a DevOps culture and mentor junior team members
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support platform services in production
• Contribute to software design and system architecture to support rapid development and deployment
