About the role
- Leads, manages, recruits, retains, develops compliance staff, within the assigned region for relevant/assigned compliance related subjects
- Manages several functional areas, divisions through strong tactical decision making through managing costs, methods and staffing
- Oversees coordination of site level compliance audits (internal and external)
- Evaluates efficacy of the team's audit management and the deployment of corrective and preventive actions to the field, systems, processes
- Provides guidance and consulting in any audit finding escalations within operations
- Makes broader recommendations for continuous improvements based on report results
- Assesses strategic training needs and creates training strategy in collaboration with other teams
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in relevant field of compliance preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related subject preferred
- QISBC or EHS certification preferred, qualified lead auditor/implementer in multiple standards preferred
