About the role

  • Design and build scalable, cloud-native platform components
  • Develop microservices and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frameworks
  • Build and maintain event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka and Google Pub/Sub
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of platform services and data systems
  • Implement disaster recovery and fault-tolerant architectures
  • Support development of real-time and batch data pipelines

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, Software Engineering, or related roles
  • Strong programming skills in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale data or platform systems
  • Experience building microservices and API architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka and/or Google Pub/Sub
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (AWS/Azure a plus)
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools
  • Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
