💰 $114,000 - $170,000 per year

About the role

  • The FSO will process and review personnel security clearances and maintain all security documentation, files, and clearance and suitability rosters in accordance with government requirements.
  • Conduct phone and in-person Security Pre-screens, documenting information and tracking of each screen results as well as reporting results to support teams.
  • Demonstrate independent judgment, strong customer service, and communication skills in reviewing security clearance paperwork and visit authorization letters to various government agencies.
  • This position will be required to populate the company database of clearance processing candidates, providing data as needed.
  • Provide, track the progress of and submit completed security forms as well as follow-up with adjudication team for status updates daily or weekly as needed.
  • Maintain personnel and facility security clearances.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years Facility Security Officer (FSO)/Contractor Program Security Officer
  • Must be approved for a U.S. government – issued security clearance
  • Ability to conduct investigations objectively and professionally regarding sensitive issues
  • Knowledge of The NISPOM Rule, NISP guidance and DCSA background investigations is a plus
  • Experience working with Intelligence Community Directive 704 (ICD 704) and 705 requirements
  • Exceptional customer service and strong written communication skills
