About the role
- Engages and collaborates with business teams for regional procurement and project execution
- Partners with business leaders to execute capital and operational purchases that deliver cost savings
- Ensures appropriate supply agreements are in place and guides internal teams how to monitor adherence to the terms of the agreement
- Aligns with internal customers regarding best negotiation positions
- Directly engages suppliers to influence the best outcome for Equinix
- Utilizes a global perspective in the execution of procurement strategy
- Delivers procurement goals, metrics, and work plans to meet operational objectives
- Communicate and collaborate with all key stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Negotiate, drive and deliver cost savings opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience
- Master’s degree in a technical or engineering field or MBA
- CIPS qualification is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Construction Related Project Execution
- Experience in commodity or supply chain management, commercial management, cost consultancy, procurement execution, category management and/or contract management preferred
- Experience working with Office Package, Power BI, Coupa, Anaplan will be a plus
