About the role
- Build trust – establish positive relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and dedication to value (value of counsel and expertise, value of solutions)
- Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with a select book of alternative finance and branch lending clients
- Strengthen the business relationship by expanding the ways in which customer relies on Equifax as a trusted advisor
- Promote a customer focus – work to understand each account’s strategic growth plans, data and technology strategy, organizational structure and the competitive landscape
- Engage with clients on a consultative basis to learn their business, anticipate needs, and position optimal solutions
- Provide account leadership – work with the sales/account team to create and maintain actionable account plans that demonstrate a solid strategy toward revenue target delivery and profitable growth
- Define and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth while delivering meaningful customer value
- Identify, develop, manage, and close customer opportunities spanning all Equifax solutions; drive a strong, robust sales pipeline
- Collaborate with cross-functional experts internally to best align with customers and win new business opportunities
- Manages contracting and contract compliance
- Drives strong pipeline development and sales execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 7-10 years of experience exceeding sales goals as a B2B account manager, partner sales, business development or related quota-carrying sales role
- Knowledge of and experience working with similar solutions: credit risk, data-driven marketing, identity and fraud, strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding expectations against revenue goals with highly complex, strategic clients
- Strong executive presentation, negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
- Ability to travel ~10-20%
