About the role

  • - Architect and govern scalable automation frameworks for API and UI testing across all product squads.
  • - Lead API testing strategy using Java, REST-assured, and TestNG, implementing advanced patterns for data-driven testing and encryption.
  • - Define UI automation standards for Selenium-based frameworks, ensuring stability and cross-browser reliability for React frontends.
  • - Drive adoption of Generative AI tools for test data generation, script maintenance, and predictive bug analysis.
  • - Partner with DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines (Azure/Codefresh) for rapid, high-confidence feedback loops.
  • - Define global quality metrics and dashboards using TestRail and Allure Reports for executive visibility.
  • - Develop strategies for performance, load, and stress testing to support 16+ million users.
  • - Integrate security scanning and vulnerability testing into automated quality gates.
  • - Coach Senior SDETs and Developers to elevate technical standards across the organization.
  • - Collaborate with Principal Developers and Product VPs to embed quality into system design.
  • - Lead internal guilds and hackathons focused on automation innovation and quality engineering.

Requirements

  • - 8+ years in Software Development or SDET roles with experience leading large-scale automation projects.
  • - Expert-level proficiency in Java and advanced testing frameworks (TestNG, REST-assured).
  • - Mastery of Selenium and modern UI testing patterns (Page Object Model, Screenplay).
  • - Experience managing test frameworks at scale using TestRail and reporting via Allure.
  • - Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures (preferably Azure) and CI/CD tooling.
  • - Experience with Event-Driven Architectures and testing complex data flows (Kafka/Event Hubs).
  • - Strong background in database technologies (MongoDB, SQL) and performance profiling.
  • - Proven track record of integrating Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM APIs) into SDLC.
  • - Relevant certifications (ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent).
  • - Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth global SaaS environment.
