About the role
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, background checks, and offer letter preparation and delivery
- Assist in creating and updating job descriptions; gather approvals for requisitions and develop engaging job posting content
- Actively source candidates through LinkedIn, social media, networking, and other channels
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of sales/Account Executive candidates
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including candidate communication and dispositioning
- Coordinate and ensure background checks are completed successfully
- Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and positive new hire experience: Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including initiating new hire paperwork, ensuring completeness, coordinating IT setup, conducting orientation
- Ensure candidates and team members have excellent experience throughout recruitment, onboarding and employment life cycle
- Provide administrative support for People Operations programs
- Help design and champion culture, wellness, total rewards, and recognition initiatives
- Assist with HRIS management and other HR-related responsibilities to support the department and employees
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- 2–4 years of experience in Recruiting, People Operations, HR Coordination, or a generalist HR role with hands on recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting within the mortgage or financial services industry preferred
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR Information Systems (HRIS)
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanor
- High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Service-oriented mindset with a passion for supporting the employee experience.
