Mechanical Engineer

• Create and manage 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of powertrain components (motor housings, inverter enclosures, gearbox casings, shafts, bearings, seals, etc.).
• Develop gearbox layouts, transmission systems, and tolerance stack-up analyses.
• Apply GD&T; and DFM/DFA principles to ensure manufacturability and assembly feasibility.
• Collaborate with electrical and thermal teams for mechanical-electrical-thermal integration.
• Provide CAD support for FEA/thermal simulations and iterate based on analysis feedback.
• Work with suppliers and vendors on prototype manufacturing, machining, and assembly.
• Participate in design reviews and documentation control for aerospace compliance.
• Support test and validation activities for subsystems and integrated powertrain assemblies.

• Set up and operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment for various shoots, including interviews, B-roll, and events.
• Capture the fast-paced and innovative environment of a deep-tech startup.
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos for various platforms, including our website, social media, investor presentations, and internal communications.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, music, and sound effects to enhance video content.
• Manage and organize our digital media library.
• Collaborate with our engineering and marketing teams to develop concepts and storyboards for new video projects.
• Contribute creative ideas to help tell the story of The ePlane Company and our mission.
• Assist in creating short-form video content for social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
