About the role
- Operate as a core member of a cross-functional pod with AEs and CSMs to coordinate plays and handoffs
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads and web inquiries with tight SLAs and clear next steps
- Reach out quickly to event/webinar attendees and sequence them into tailored follow-ups
- Book meetings through cold calls, concise emails, and thoughtful social/digital prospecting into priority accounts
- Source meetings for cross-sell/upsell motions and support feature/campaign pushes with CSMs
- Consistently meet/exceed weekly and monthly activity and results metrics (3–5 meetings booked per week, meetings, opps created, pipeline)
- Maintain CRM rigor: log every touch, capture notes, set next steps, and keep data clean
- Contribute to division, department and company targets and initiatives
- Stay up to date with trends and best practices within the field
- Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years of Inside Sales/Business Development/Sales Development experience
- Preferably at an enterprise software company and/or from the media industry
- Consistent track record for meeting and exceeding lead generation, forecasting, and sales objectives
- Experience contacting +100 Million USD Revenue companies and speaking with senior executives
- Preferably have an existing network in the region/market
- Can demonstrate a track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Exposure to closing sales of any kind
