About the role
- Define and champion the experience vision and strategy for AI-native products and features.
- Lead cross-disciplinary design execution across user research, service design, interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Embed design early in product development, collaborating with PMs and engineers to co-own roadmaps and ensure design integrity.
- Establish and track KPIs that measure experience impact—adoption, engagement, retention, and trust.
- Mentor and scale a team of designers, UX researchers, content designers, and experience architects.
- Drive improvements in design systems, AI tooling, accessibility, and operational excellence.
- Evangelize user insights and design strategy to senior stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of AI trends (LLMs, agents, personalization, generative interfaces) and translate innovation into product opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven background in UX design with international leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of software product development at scale in a leadership capacity.
- A disruptive mindset—comfortable challenging the status quo and driving change.
- 10+ years in UX/design roles with increasing leadership responsibility.
- 4+ years managing mid-to-senior designers and UX researchers.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to link design work to business outcomes.
- Technical fluency in AI, ML, data, and APIs to collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Experience delivering complex products with measurable impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, human factors, engineering, or equivalent experience.
