About the role

  • Primary technical contact for client projects and close collaboration with sales and account teams to support pre-sales activities
  • Analyze clients' business challenges to develop cloud solutions that deliver measurable outcomes
  • Effectively communicate the portfolio of technical solutions and provide strategic guidance
  • Plan and design cloud architectures based on AWS, Azure, GCP, or SAP BTP in collaboration with the client
  • Advise on cloud-native technologies, containerization, serverless, DevOps, CI/CD, and security best practices
  • Evaluate and recommend AI tools and technologies
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams for technical handovers
  • Contribute to thought leadership through blogs, whitepapers, or conference presentations

Requirements

  • Technical expert in cloud architectures, proofs of concept, and modern software development
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP); certifications are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architectures, microservices, APIs, networking, identity/access management, security, and AI solutions
  • Hands-on programming experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or comparable languages
  • Ability to explain complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-driven, and familiar with sales cycles and business development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience; at least 10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to undertake occasional travel to South Africa
