The Co-packer Market Manager will be tasked with helping ePac grow in the co-man / Co-packer (Contract Packager) space.
The primary goal of this position is to better connect ePac into this space, in both Rollstock and premade pouches, and to grow our sales volume in the co-packer market.
The position requires extensive knowledge of Co-packer and customer filling equipment and materials, and being able to help troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and implement solutions for raw materials and finished products.
The Co-packer Market Manager will work closely with the ePac team to serve as support to ePac Customer’s and Co-packers needs.
The position will educate ePac team members on the Co-packer FFS equipment, connect team members with FFS equipment suppliers and co-packers.
Provide additional support to the operation teams to ensure that all technical systems, infrastructure and processes are functioning efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Engineering or related field such as Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Material Science or equivalent experience.
Min 10 years direct copacker related and FFS equipment related experience
Packaging innovation/engineering experience in flexible packaging, CPG, or food/beverage industry.
Proficient in the use of Google Suites and related software.
MS Dynamics experience is a plus.
Experience in a variety of packaging materials and applications - flexible films, paperboard cartons, corrugate, labels, adhesives, etc. would be ideal.
Knowledge of ISTA, TAPPI, and ASTM packaging test methods.
