About the role
- Drive the document intake process, reviewing materials for validity and analyzing immigration status with precision.
- Own the drafting of case documents, statutory forms, and templated support letters across a wide range of NIV petitions.
- Spot issues early and escalate them to Attorneys or Senior Case Managers before they become roadblocks.
- Turn around RFE responses quickly and confidently.
- Monitor case activity daily using our advanced online case‑tracking platform.
- Partner with Client Support Specialists to ensure seamless printing, scanning, mailing, and service requests.
- Communicate directly with clients and foreign nationals to keep cases moving and expectations aligned.
- Manage shifting priorities with ease while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and elevate our client experience.
- Support teammates with case prep and documentation when needed.
- Help foster a positive, collaborative culture across a fully remote team.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of full‑time experience as a Business Immigration Paralegal handling employment‑based petitions.
- A bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred).
- A genuine passion for U.S. immigration and a client‑first mindset.
- Proven experience independently managing NIV cases (H‑1B, L‑1, TN, O‑1, etc.).
- Experience drafting green card filings (I‑140, AOS) and full‑cycle PERM applications preferred.
- Comfort managing a high volume of active and inactive cases simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with impeccable accuracy.
- Experience communicating directly with HR teams and foreign nationals on key accounts.
- The ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle competing priorities.
- Strong tech fluency and the ability to adapt quickly to Envoy’s case‑processing software.
- A process‑driven mindset with the flexibility to embrace innovation.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Word.
- A friendly, respectful, team‑oriented approach — essential in a remote environment.
