About the role
- Overseeing and optimizing all supply chain operations related to organic products, from sourcing raw materials through production, warehousing, and distribution.
- Ensuring the seamless movement and quality assurance of organic goods, compliance with organic certification standards.
- Developing strong supplier and logistics partnerships.
- Engaging in planning meetings and ongoing strategy implementation for key supplier partnerships and utilization.
- Supporting onboarding of new organic vendors and maintaining the approved vendor list.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant organic standards, regulations, and tracking requirements.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and leading initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer excellence, finance/accounting, business development, and sales.
- Developing key partnerships with operations teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing collaborative solutions or supply chain management in a contract sourcing environment.
- Proven experience managing supply chain functions, preferably within the organics or food/beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, organic certification processes, regulatory requirements, and strategic contract concepts.
- Ability to balance and deliver multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills, advanced Excel skills beneficial.
- Proficiency with supply chain management and data analysis tools.
