About the role
- Review and analyze contracts to determine revenue impacts and ensure accurate financial reporting (Revenue Recognition & Analysis)
- Review and analyze contracts for financial implications, ensuring compliance with company policies, financial reporting standards, and legal requirements (Contract Review & Compliance)
- Oversee the lifecycle of contract revenue from inception to renewal or termination and track key contract revenue details
- Collaborate with finance to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports and track variances (Financial Reporting)
- Provide data-driven insights related to contract performance and revenue trends using financial forecasts (Data Analysis & Insights)
- Work closely with sales, legal, operations, finance teams and external business contacts to ensure alignment between contract terms and business objectives (Cross-functional Collaboration)
- Continuously evaluate and improve revenue and contract management processes and implement tools/best practices (Process Improvement)
- Develop, maintain, and analyze financial models to support forecasting and budgeting; conduct ad-hoc profitability and pricing analysis (Financial Analysis)
- Support leadership in evaluating business performance, identifying trends, and monitoring key metrics
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting (energy sector experience preferred)
- Experience working with ERP or CRM systems, such as Salesforce, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or SAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced modeling, pivot tables, etc.); experience with financial systems and BI tools a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or CPA a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to develop financial reports, revenue forecasts, and variance analyses
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Revenue Management System and Customer Relationship Management
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
