About the role
- track fleet information and validate invoices
- collect data from multiple sources, set up and maintain asset databases
- analyze data and create/distribute reports
- coordinate with field personnel to maintain accurate fleet asset information
- create reports and dashboards
- create deployment plans and track progress
- manage transportation and logistics projects
- learn formal project management skills and techniques
Requirements
- high school diploma or GED with minimum 3 years of experience in transportation and logistics function OR an Associates degree in transportation, logistics or supply chain with minimum 1 year(s) of experience in transportation and logistics function
- Proficiency using Excel including setting up spreadsheets/formula, VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, and data cleaning skills (manipulating strings/dates)
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Ability to anticipate customer needs, proactively meet those needs and initiate actions to increase customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English across functions
- proficient in Power BI
- basic to intermediate Python programming knowledge
