About the role
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the territory by targeting manufacturers, co-packers, and distributors requiring metal can solutions.
- Strategically cover the South East region, which may include GA, FL, SC, NC, AL, and surrounding areas. Plan and execute regular client visits and industry event participation.
- Understand customer packaging needs and provide recommendations on product types, sizes, and specifications based on manufacturing capabilities.
- Track and report key sales metrics, forecasts, and market intelligence using CRM tools and internal reporting systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate quotes and negotiate pricing to close deals while maintaining profit margins.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product and service improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field strongly preferred.
- Prior experience as a Sales Representative or similar role required.
- Prior hands-on experience in sales with the proven ability to deliver excellent customer service experience.
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Current and valid driver’s license required.
- Must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the region.
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to maintain accurate, detailed records that will be audited periodically; Ability to work on multiple projects at once with tight deadlines.
- Must be a self-starter and have the desire and ability to take ownership and responsibility with little direction.
- Exceptional customer service skills in handling issues in both the interest of the customer and Envases.
