About the role
- balance hands-on field work with in-depth analytical engineering performed from your home office
- analyze field data, develop and refine test plans, prepare for field assignments, build mathematical models, run simulations, document technical results
- direct generation resources through planned tests at power generation facilities, capturing high-quality data for analysis
- maintain a balanced mix of field and office work, supported by extensive training and mentorship
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or related discipline focused on controls or power systems
- Undergraduate-level exposure to power generation fundamentals
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the year for field work
- Background in control theory, including experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
- Authorized to work in Canada, able to pass a background check, lift up to 50 pounds, and possess a valid driver’s license
