About the role

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 Desktop support for end users across the business
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues
  • Support users in a Microsoft environment, including Windows OS and Microsoft 365
  • Manage incidents and service requests using Jira Service Desk, ensuring accurate updates and timely resolution
  • Perform user administration tasks, including Active Directory and Azure AD basics
  • Work closely with local Australian teams and NZ-based support teams to deliver seamless support
  • Escalate issues to appropriate resolver groups while maintaining ownership and accountability
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service through clear communication and proactive support
  • Follow incident, change, and security processes to ensure compliance and service continuity

Requirements

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a Desktop Support role
  • Experience working in a corporate or enterprise environment
  • Exposure to highly regulated environments (desirable)
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • - Windows OS
  • - Microsoft 365
  • - Jira Service Desk or similar ticketing systems
  • - User account administration (AD / Azure AD fundamentals)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A collaborative team player with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
