About the role
- Planning, developing, organizing, and managing the Patient Access department
- Responsible for performance and effectiveness of these department(s)
- Coaching and development of all staff performing these functions
- Implementing short and long-term plans and objectives to improve customer service
- Collecting, interpreting, and communicating performance data using various tools and systems
Requirements
- Minimum 2 – 3 year’s management experience in healthcare industry
- Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI to lean into process and technological improvements
- Patient Access experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft a must
- Ability to balance numerous priorities, therefore requiring great skills in prioritization
- Ability to understand and master numerous computer applications
- Patient Access experience with managed care/insurance and Call Center experience highly preferred
- Required Certification: HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) within 9 months of hire
