About the role
- Monitor security systems and respond promptly to security incidents
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies
- Analyze security breaches to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats and technologies
- Collaborate with senior analysts and team members to enhance overall cybersecurity posture
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies and protocols
- Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well, both independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications, example: CompTIA, Security+
- Hands experience with cyber security tools and technologies
- Knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure
- Experience in a cyber security internship, or related position
- IT-related processes, data and systems
- Develop and prepare IT audit plans
- Make innovative recommendations for improving efficiency, effectiveness and internal control
- Actively participate in overall Internal Audit risk assessment and planning
