About the role
- Lead strategic and operational initiatives across multiple domains within Self-Pay Services and related functions.
- Oversee comprehensive revenue cycle assessments for new and existing clients.
- Lead integration planning and execution for onboarding clients into Ensemble’s operational model.
- Develop and implement bad debt strategies that optimize recovery while maintaining compliance.
- Manage relationships with external bad debt vendors, including performance monitoring and contract adherence.
- Drive automation and technology enhancements within Self-Pay workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Provide oversight for mailroom and correspondence teams ensuring timely and accurate delivery of patient communications.
- Lead a team of operational trainers responsible for onboarding and continuous education of staff.
- Direct bridge teams focused on stabilizing client performance and bringing metrics within SLA.
- Analyze root causes of performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred) or 8+ years of related experience in revenue cycle operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for business purposes
- Proven expertise in bad debt management, vendor oversight, and technology-driven process improvement.
- Strong understanding of payer mix, self-pay strategies, and patient financial engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
