About the role
- Develop the Sales & Marketing Strategy of the designed markets and geographies
- Own and deliver regional sales targets, budgets, and forecasts for those markets
- Drive profitable growth and ensure effective pricing, inventory, and margin management
- Develop and execute annual operating plans and long-range strategic plans for the allocated markets
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in existing and emerging export markets
- Lead distributor selection, onboarding, and contract negotiations in new territories
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategy
- Lead, manage, and develop distributor partnerships across designated export markets
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key distributor principals, KOLs, key surgeons and stakeholders
- Design and execute promotional campaigns that strengthen brand visibility and drive profitability
Requirements
- 10+ years of commercial experience in medical devices implantable
- Proven experience managing distributors and indirect sales models
- Strong track record in business development, tender management, and strategic negotiations
- Solid understanding of surgical or orthopedic implant markets
- Deep technical knowledge of the medical technology sector, including regulatory, commercial, and clinical ecosystems
- Proven success in cultivating strategic customer relationships
- Culturally astute with experience working across Middle Eastern markets
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
