About the role

  • Lead and influence the Platform team
  • Own the development and delivery of VidyoBasePlatform
  • Take full ownership of engineering development infrastructure
  • Champion automation across workflows
  • Lead initiatives to design, implement, and optimize containerized environments
  • Embed security into every layer of the platform
  • Implement robust monitoring and observability solutions
  • Seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and systems
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams providing technical guidance

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with GNU/Linux systems
  • Minimum of 4 years of production-grade experience setting up containerized environments and Kubernetes clusters from scratch in private/on-prem environments
  • Advanced database administration capabilities across SQL and NoSQL systems
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and manage robust monitoring and observability solutions for production systems
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP-based networks and troubleshooting complex networking issues
  • Practical experience with key protocols including SNMP, LDAP, SSH, TLS, and HTTP
  • Proven experience analyzing CVEs, applying timely patches, implementing ACLs
  • Mandatory experience designing and implementing load balancing and HA solutions
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and Bash for automation
