About the role

  • Design, implement and maintain our development platform and cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code
  • Build and maintain tools and services to enable and accelerate our development teams and improve the maintainability and operability of our infrastructure
  • Consult, assist and collaborate with developers to enable them to get the most out of cloud-native technologies
  • Improve our observability strategy and processes to enable data-driven decision making
  • Develop and implement CI/CD and automation best practices

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in platform engineering or cloud computing as well as a deep understanding of networking and cloud deployment models
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (or similar), Kubernetes, Git, scripting and a solid understanding of monitoring solutions (e.g. Prometheus, Stackdriver, Datadog)
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, etc.) and automation using CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems
  • Comfortable utilizing AI and automation tools to optimize workflows and increase productivity
