About the role
- Lead teams of modelers and specialists, aligning with project schedules, constructability, and client expectations.
- Provide technical leadership in mechanical piping BIM, defining workflows and ensuring modeling accuracy.
- Mentor and coach BIM specialists and modelers to develop technical talent.
- Oversee delivery of mechanical piping models and drawings, ensuring quality and constructability.
- Represent ENG in technical discussions with clients and cross-trade coordination meetings.
- Promote continuous improvement, new tools, and methodologies for mechanical piping.
- Accountable for QA/QC: review models and drawings before submission to align with client requirements and guarantee constructability.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree or Technical Training / Background.
- 7+ years of experience with Revit & Navisworks on MEP projects (primarily Mechanical/Piping).
- Demonstrated expertise as a technical reference in mechanical piping BIM.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Strong client-facing communication and organizational skills.
- Proven experience with U.S.-based projects and codes .
- Experience delivering LOD 400 models and drawings.
