About the role
- Oversees accounting for projects including general ledger maintenance and month-end close process
- Works closely with the Construction Management team in areas such as budget preparation, financial analysis, and internal control policies
- Performs daily and monthly accounting processes including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepares monthly client invoicing in coordination with the Program Management team
- Analyzes project financial performance and provides recommendations to senior leadership
- Assists with internal and external audit communication and responds to auditor comments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Intermediate level skills in Adobe, Excel and other MS Office tools
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
