About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Verizon account, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue growth, profitability growth, retention, and expansion goals
- Identify opportunities to introduce new telecommunications solutions incorporating energy storage, power conversion, enclosures and services that solve Verizon’s biggest problems and challenges
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management, operations, finance, legal) to deliver tailored solutions
- Monitor account performance, market trends, and competitive activity to inform strategy
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in alignment with company policies
- Lead Quarterly business reviews and performance reports to clients and leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of account and territory management experience in the Communications industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention targets
- Strong understanding of communications products, services, and emerging technologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-value accounts simultaneously
- Flexibility to travel extensively (approximately 40–50% of the time) to meet business and customer needs
