About the role

  • Owning the sales cycle — from prospecting to close — driving consistent growth and exceeding quarterly and annual goals
  • Building trust and credibility with decision-makers across both public and private sectors
  • Becoming an expert in EnergyCAP’s software platform
  • Acting as a strategic advisor, uncovering client pain points and crafting tailored solutions
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product teams
  • Representing EnergyCAP at industry events, conferences, and webinars

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful SaaS sales experience, with a proven ability to meet and exceed goals
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills
  • Experience selling into diverse markets (public sector, private sector, or both)
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and digital tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and webinar platforms
  • Strong business acumen and a consultative mindset
  • Confidently engages and communicates with C-level executives
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience or familiarity with energy, sustainability, or utility management is a plus.
