Financial Planning and Analysis

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasts for internal and external audiences

• Use tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to build automated workflows that streamline financial reporting, variance analysis, and data reconciliation — and stay current on emerging AI applications for finance.

Senior Financial Analyst

Product Designer

• Conduct customer and internal user research - interviews, surveys, usability testing - and synthesize findings into a clear understanding of user needs, motivations, and friction points that directly inform product direction
• Validate that the product is delivering the outcomes customers actually want and carry that evidence into product decisions alongside Technical Product Managers and engineers
• Build functioning prototypes in code rather than static mockups, so that ideas can be tested in something close to the real experience - using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code to move from insight to a testable build quickly
• Produce functioning front-end code where it is the right path to a working result, with a clear handoff point where your output is reviewed by engineering before it reaches production
• Define interaction patterns, hierarchy, and visual design directly in the medium customers will use, and iterate based on what testing reveals - holding the standard for accessibility and quality throughout
• Collaborate with Technical Product Managers and engineers to align prototypes and builds with technical constraints, product goals, and business outcomes
• Contribute to key AI-powered product initiatives, including Bill Capture tooling that extracts and processes utility data, and the Watts AI agent experience.

UX Designer

Customer Success Manager

• Own and manage a book of customer accounts, maintaining regular contact to ensure satisfaction, adoption, and retention
• Lead value-based conversations that align EnergyCAP solutions to customer goals and outcomes
• Partner closely with Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to support renewals, adoption goals, and overall account health
• Drive customer adoption and renewal readiness by proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and success milestones
• Use health scores, usage data, and customer insights to prioritize outreach and drive proactive action
• Support net revenue retention by identifying expansion opportunities tied to demonstrated and realized customer value
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, collaborating with Product, Onboarding, Implementation, Support, and other teams
• Transition customers from Onboarding to ongoing Customer Success, ensuring a smooth, confident, and effective post-sales experience

• Owning the sales tax process and compliance end-to-end - ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit-readiness across all applicable jurisdictions.
• Leading a meaningful cleanup and ongoing partnership on revenue recognition - bringing structure, accuracy, and GAAP rigor to a critical area of the business.
• Overseeing banking operations and managing AP/AR - keeping cash flow visibility sharp and vendor and customer relationships well-supported.
• Delivering clear, insightful financial reports and flux analyses that translate numbers into narratives decision-makers can act on.
