About the role
- Consult clients on business goals, objectives, and needs as they relate to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other system needs
- Implement JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software including needs assessment, installation, set-up, implementation, training, and consultation services
- Serve as liaison between end-users and consultants during consulting projects
- Work with clients to gather business requirements and translate those needs into software solutions
- Define specifications and data models for product development and testing
- Create detailed test cases, analyze results, and develop test scripts
- Configure JD Edwards software solution to meet client requirements
- Create training documentation and provide training for clients; prepare training outlines and materials
- Keep project manager and project team informed on individual deliverables
- Travel to client locations to meet and collaborate with Denovo and client team members; tour client facilities to understand operations
- Assist sales team to create solutions and provide estimates; may serve as SME during sales process
- May occasionally assist JDE Managed Services team for customer daily issues
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Business or related field, required
- Graduate degree, preferred
- 7+ years of functional JD Edwards implementation experience in modules requested, required
- Experience with EnterpriseOne current versions, required
- Professional certification as appropriate
- Excellent service-driven customer-focused skills
- Proven ability to work in both a team environment and independently
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Superior project planning and management skills
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to absorb, master and leverage emerging technologies
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Must be authorized to work in the United States, or able to obtain authorization through visa sponsorship
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% (frequently outside local area and overnight)
