About the role
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of facilities, and deriving operational objectives in coordination with the responsible supervisor
- Ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations while complying with all safety, environmental and quality standards, and coordinating activities with the central dispatch center
- Planning, coordinating and supervising maintenance and repair activities
- Optimizing operational processes and driving continuous improvement of plant availability
- Supporting budget planning and control and acting as an interface to other departments and external service providers
- Conducting regular team meetings, employee appraisals and performance reviews, and promoting the development and motivation of team members
Requirements
- Completed technical training, ideally with further qualification as a master plant mechanic (Anlagenmechanikermeister), master plumber and heating technician (Installateur- und Heizungsbauermeister), or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in gas technology according to TRGI (G600) and experience performing site supervision/construction management duties
- Professional experience in the operation and/or maintenance of technical plants/systems
- Initial leadership experience desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Confident user of MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
