About the role
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of plants and equipment
- Derive operational targets in coordination with the responsible supervisor
- Ensure smooth and efficient plant operations while complying with all safety, environmental and quality standards
- Coordinate activities with the Central Order Control (Zentrale Auftragssteuerung)
- Plan, coordinate and monitor maintenance and repair measures
- Optimize operational processes and continuously improve plant availability
- Support budget planning and control and act as an interface to other departments and external service providers
- Conduct regular team briefings (jour fixes), hold employee meetings and performance evaluations, and promote the development and motivation of team members
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training, ideally with further qualification as a master plant mechanic, master plumber/heating engineer, or equivalent qualification
- Experience in gas technology (TRGI/G600) and experience performing site supervisory (Bauleiter) duties
- Professional experience in the operation and/or maintenance of technical systems and installations
- Initial leadership experience desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Confident user of MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
