Director

• Lead the technical architecture and drive the build and delivery of products across the Endpoints ecosystem.
• Make pragmatic build/buy/integrate decisions, with a strong bias toward leveraging modern tooling (including AI and LLM-powered workflows) to ship faster.
• Partner directly with editorial and business leadership to translate ideas into shipped features, moving as fast as the newsroom demands to serve our readers.
• Review, refine, and ship code and products created by non-engineering team members, evaluating them on their merits and getting solid work into production quickly.
• Lead and grow the tech and engineering team, setting standards, unblocking people, and building a culture of speed and craftsmanship.
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape the product direction and have a strong bias towards “here's how we build that.”
