Develop strong relationships with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and business unit stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Partner with functional leads to prioritize enhancements, manage escalations, and ensure service reliability.
Provide thought leadership on automation, process improvements, and technology opportunities within the SAP domain.
Establish structured feedback loops with end users to improve workflows and identify pain points.
Collaborate with audit, risk, and compliance teams to uphold control requirements and regulatory standards.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the SAP environment and critical boundary systems.
Lead technical and functional teams to ensure system uptime, performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Strengthen SAP security, controls, and compliance (SOX, ITGC) and ensure readiness for audits.
Implement automation and best practices in monitoring, incident response, and change control.
Manage lifecycle planning: patches, enhancements, upgrades, capacity planning, and roadmaps.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global SAP team with clear ownership and accountability.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Mentor team members, support career growth, and plan for key role succession.
Manage relationships with SI partners, AMS providers, and third-party vendors to supplement internal capabilities effectively.

Requirements

8–10+ years of SAP leadership experience across enterprise environments
Deep technical understanding of SAP ECC and related platforms (BW, BPC, SLT, GRC, Concur)
Strong knowledge of end-to-end SAP process integration (RTR, PTP, OTC)
Hands-on leadership managing SAP functional and technical teams across global or multi-country organizations
Experience delivering SAP transformation or modernization initiatives (upgrades, cloud migrations, integration improvements, or S/4 readiness)
Strong vendor management experience, including AMS or SI partners
Solid understanding of SDLC, ITSM, integration frameworks, and compliance requirements (SOX, ITGC)
Experience managing budgets and optimizing spend
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and guide decision-making through data and structured analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred: MBA or advanced degree.
Preferred: SAP certifications.
