About the role
- Provide basic technical support for IT-related issues, including computers, mobile devices, printers, and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software problems for end-users.
- Assist with setting up new equipment, installing software updates, and maintaining user accounts.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep systems running smoothly and securely.
- Maintain accurate records of support tickets and hardware inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient technology experience for all staff.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience working in an IT support or help desk environment (internships or school projects count!).
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting concepts.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Bonus Skills (not required, but a plus!): Experience with IT ticketing systems.
- Bonus Skills (not required, but a plus!): Exposure to mobile device management or cloud services (like AWS).
