• Define and drive the project delivery strategy aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the delivery of major programmes including transformation, regulatory change, and business improvement initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing decisions through data-driven insights and project performance metrics.
• Establish and embed robust programme and project governance frameworks, ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance.
• Own and evolve portfolio management standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure governance and controls are in place and that there is effective risk, issue, and dependency management across all projects.
• Lead, inspire, and grow a team of project managers, business analysts, and PMO professionals.
• Manage the budget.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and excellence in execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, IT, Legal, Risk, and HR to enable cohesive project execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with external vendors, regulators, and consultants as needed.
