About the role
- Lead and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals responsible for enterprise security platforms and tooling
- Oversee the lifecycle, configuration, and operation of security technologies such as email security, EDR, cloud security, and identity-related controls
- Manage security operations platforms including SIEM, SOAR, and enterprise logging and telemetry solutions
- Provide technical leadership on security architecture, control effectiveness, and risk mitigation strategies
- Partner with IT, cloud, application, and security operations teams to deliver integrated security solutions
- Establish operational standards, service expectations, and vendor performance oversight to ensure reliability and compliance
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT operations, including at least 5 years in an IT security or cybersecurity function
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Systems, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience leading technical teams and working with managed service providers
- Strong expertise in enterprise security platforms, monitoring technologies, and cybersecurity controls
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical risks into clear insights for senior and non-technical stakeholders
- CISSP or comparable cybersecurity certification; experience in regulated or energy-sector environments is an asset
