Security Engineer

• Oversee the implementation and ongoing support of security policies, procedures, and controls within the business.
• Monitor operational risks and identify any irregularities or areas of potential concern.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for security-related matters at a local level.
• Engage with regulatory authorities and relevant external bodies to ensure compliance and minimize exposure to risk.
• Conduct both on-site and remote audits, reporting on findings and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
• Work closely with global compliance and legal teams to ensure alignment with international standards and requirements.
• Ensure security processes are effectively managed to meet organizational risk management objectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to existing processes.
• Provide expert guidance and support during system or process implementations.
• Evaluate system updates or changes and advise on potential impacts and improvements.
• Assist in refining training materials, documentation, and process guidelines in collaboration with compliance teams.
• Maintain adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and safety standards.
