About the role

  • The main responsibility is to win potential prospects (independent merchants from EDEKA and REWE) for us through a structured sales process.
  • Merchants should install our systems and use the EMSU Retail Media platform.
  • Structured management of the assigned territory in coordination with the team
  • Approaching identified prospects and continuously acquiring new customers
  • Prospecting, advising and servicing customers in both field and inside sales
  • Developing and participating in initiatives to grow existing customer accounts
  • Contributing ideas to optimize sales structures and processes
  • Close collaboration with the Sales, Customer Relations and Marketing teams
  • Taking on additional customer groups by agreement

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales/field sales in grocery retail (LEH)
  • Confident experience working with independent grocery merchants in the LEH (e.g. EDEKA, REWE)
  • Convincing and personable presence
  • Ability to assess and understand customer needs
  • High motivation and constructive engagement regarding product and workflows
  • Very good German language skills
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Experience with CRM software (HubSpot) is desirable
  • Experience in a start‑up environment is an advantage but not required
