About the role

  • Conduct comprehensive compliance reviews of business-unit processes
  • Document findings, trends, root causes, and recommend corrective actions
  • Evaluate new and amended laws and regulations
  • Develop and communicate regulatory impact summaries
  • Support or lead the processing of legal and regulatory requests
  • Act as a subject matter expert for regulatory requirements
  • Provide consultative guidance to employees and managers
  • Design, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Serve as the primary compliance contact for assigned business units
  • Facilitate communication between core compliance and embedded partners
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional and cross-line-of-business initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in compliance, audit, legal, or regulatory environments
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry preferred
  • Proficiency with enterprise compliance platforms and productivity software tools (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, GRC systems)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze regulations, draft documentation, and lead cross-functional initiatives
