About the role
- Conduct comprehensive compliance reviews of business-unit processes
- Document findings, trends, root causes, and recommend corrective actions
- Evaluate new and amended laws and regulations
- Develop and communicate regulatory impact summaries
- Support or lead the processing of legal and regulatory requests
- Act as a subject matter expert for regulatory requirements
- Provide consultative guidance to employees and managers
- Design, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures
- Serve as the primary compliance contact for assigned business units
- Facilitate communication between core compliance and embedded partners
- Lead or participate in cross-functional and cross-line-of-business initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in compliance, audit, legal, or regulatory environments
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry preferred
- Proficiency with enterprise compliance platforms and productivity software tools (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, GRC systems)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze regulations, draft documentation, and lead cross-functional initiatives
