About the role
- Own the P&L of the Product Categories in Germany with a focus on profitable growth and margin expansion.
- Define and execute the category strategy for one of the categories (Mattresses, Beds, and Accessories)—adapting the global assortment to the local market and uncovering new segment opportunities.
- Drive Pricing Excellence: Own the local pricing strategy across channels and products to maximize revenue and margin, supported by strong analytics.
- Lead Go-To-Market Initiatives for new product launches in Germany—collaborating with Global Product Success, Sourcing, Marketing, and UX teams.
- Manage the Full Product Lifecycle: Plan and coordinate phase-ins/phase-outs, ensuring timely and cost-effective portfolio evolution.
- Run Campaign & Commercial Planning in alignment with your Marketing counterpart, ensuring a coherent and impactful promotional calendar.
- Partner with Regional Webshop Team to improve digital conversion and category presentation.
- Collaborate with Operations and Sourcing to improve cost structure and supply performance for the German market.
- Act as a Category Expert for the Italian business, providing insights, benchmarking, and recommendations to the local leadership team.
Requirements
- You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Economics, Business Development, Management, or E-commerce.
- You have 2+ years of experience in Category Management, Business Strategy, or Consulting, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods.
- You’ve owned or contributed significantly to P&L performance Strategic & Analytical Thinker.
- You’re able to connect the dots between customer insights, product performance, pricing dynamics, and operational levers to define high-impact growth strategies. Business Ownership Mindset.
- You thrive on responsibility, take full ownership of your domain, and act with a founder’s mentality in identifying growth and profitability opportunities. Strong Commercial Acumen.
- You understand pricing, margin drivers, channel dynamics, and portfolio management deeply enough to make data-driven decisions that move the business forward. Execution-Oriented Leader.
