About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a revenue accounting subject matter expert and key business partner to stakeholders across the organization
- Determine, document, and support appropriate revenue recognition treatment for complex and significant sales transactions
- Prepare and record monthly deferred revenue journal entries and support accurate period-end close activities
- Develop and deliver quarterly deferred revenue reporting and analytical insights for leadership and finance partners
- Analyze revenue recognition assumptions, summarize findings, and support updates to accounting policies when needed
- Create and maintain templates and tools to enable efficient regional and global disclosure reporting
- Provide timely, high-quality support for quarterly and annual external reviews and audits
- Research, interpret, and apply technical accounting guidance related to revenue recognition and reporting
- Manage and synthesize data from multiple sources to deliver clear, accurate, and timely analysis
- Collaborate effectively with cross functional and global teams while balancing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Communicate clearly and guide the business toward best practices in revenue recognition and compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience supporting revenue recognition under ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- Practical experience applying accounting principles in a professional environment, with exposure to revenue‑related processes
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the ability to research and apply technical accounting guidance
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet competing deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, to analyze and summarize financial data
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
