About the role
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Greenlee electrical tools, from strategy development through product launch, optimization, and rationalization
- Develop long term product line strategies and corresponding new product pipelines aligned with Emerson Professional Tools strategic priorities
- Lead electrification focused portfolio strategies, including data center infrastructure applications and emerging market opportunities
- Maintain deep understanding of competitive dynamics, customer needs, and market trends to inform strategic decisions
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, and Global teams to define, prioritize, and execute new product development programs
- Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging technologies and new approaches into future product offerings
- Define product positioning, value propositions, and go to market strategies
- Lead product launch planning and execution in collaboration with Marketing Communications, including trade shows, product demonstrations, training, and promotional activities
- Conduct ongoing market research using internal and external data sources to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
- Build, develop, and lead a high performing team of product managers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Seven or more years of experience in product management, marketing, engineering, or commercial roles within a manufactured products environment
- Demonstrated experience in product lifecycle management, new product development, and commercialization
- Strong business insight with the ability to translate market and financial data into actionable strategies
- Proven ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a dynamic environment
- Experience collaborating across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing Communications
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Legal authorization to work in the US - visa sponsorship will not be provided
