About the role
- Develop a winning pursuit plan and structure the core team required to win
- Coordinate all internal and external resources to ensure success
- Lead the sales strategy, building strong relationships with end users, partners, and engineering contractors
- Manage the project pursuit lifecycle, from early engagement to project execution handover
- Implement the project pursuit process, including opportunity qualification, sales strategy development, risk analysis, and executive reporting
- Improve project win rates by offering differentiated value propositions and ensuring profitability
Requirements
- Extensive sales experience with deep expertise in automation industry products, solutions and applications
- Leadership and management skills, driving long-term sales for large-scale projects
- Strong understanding of project management and execution fundamentals
- Expertise in professional selling techniques for large capital projects
- In-depth knowledge of industries such as Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, Life Sciences, and Sustainability and Decarbonization
- Familiarity with contracting strategies, execution practices, and metrics with global engineering contractors
- Willingness to travel internationally, often at short notice and for extended periods
- Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in an additional European language preferred
