About the role

  • Analyze accounting data and generate comprehensive financial reports
  • Oversee cross-functional teams involved in Intercompany Accounting processes
  • Ensure seamless day-to-day Record-to-Report operations and compliance
  • Participate in strategic reviews and audits
  • Champion the development of team members
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Emerson’s CP&P, financial accounting policies, GAAP, internal controls, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Perform journal entry, reconciliation, and reports review
  • Address and resolve issues from Specialists and employees
  • Lead Record‑to‑Report operations by developing objectives and tracking mechanisms
  • Support new business implementations
  • Participate in audit activities and collaborate with internal auditors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Partners
  • Conduct employee forums and team meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, preferably with Certified Public Accountant license.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including positions of increasing responsibility in Accounting or Process Operations within shared business services.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and Hyperion Financial Management.
  • Solid technical and analytical skills in Finance, General Accounting, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SOX, IAS and IFRS.
